Park, Sung Bom (Partner)

Sung Bom Park is a partner at Yulchon. As Vice-Chair of Antitrust Practice Group and Head of Regulatory Investigations & Compliance Team, he handles all matters of antitrust, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, energy and environment. He is also interested in the practice of corporate compliance. Mr. Park earned his reputation by successfully representing numerous major clients in the antitrust cases, including SK Corporation, SK Energy, SK Gas, LG U+, SK Telecom, Cathay Pacific, Otis, Qualcomm, Intel, Merck, among others. He has a great deal of experience and expertise in the counseling matters covering telecommunication, energy, petrochemicals, pharmaceutical and aviation industries. He also provides counsel on several projects to systemically manage corporate legal risks including antitrust issues. From 2004 to 2012, Mr. Park served as a member of the Korea Fair Trade Commission’s Cartel Advisory Committee and a member of Legal Advisory Group of the Korea Communications Commission since 2010. Mr. Park has written and lectured extensively on various antitrust, corporate compliance issues. Mr. Park has been selected as a leading competition/antitrust lawyer in Korea by Chambers Asia since 2009. He has also been listed in the Marquis Who’ Who since 2010. Mr. Park graduated from Yonsei University, School of Law in 1989 and received his LL.M. from University of California (Davis), School of Law in 2001. Mr. Park is admitted to practice in Korea and New York bars.
